چکیده

در این مطالعه به بررسی نقش آموزش‌وپرورش بر رشد اقتصادی کشورهای در‌حال‌توسعه منتخب (ایران، بلغارستان، پرو، رومانی، تایلند، ترکیه، تونس، مالزی، آرژانتین، برزیل، شیلی، مکزیک) با استفاده از داده‌های تلفیقی (پانل دیتا) طی دوره 2005-2015 پرداخته شده است. نتایج مطالعه بیانگر اثر مثبت و معنی‌دار سرمایه‌گذاری در آموزش‌وپرورش بر رشد اقتصادی کشورهای درحال‌توسعه منتخب است. همچنین پایین بودن هزینه‌های آموزشی و درنتیجه نادیده گرفتن تأثیر آموزش و تربیت نیروی انسانی ماهر، از مهم‌ترین عوامل پایین بودن سطح رشد اقتصادی در کشورهای درحال‌توسعه است؛ بنابراین شایسته است که با توجه به جمعیت روزافزون جوان در کشورهای درحال‌توسعه از یک سو و نیاز مبرم این کشورها به رشد و افزایش تولید از سوی دیگر، توجه جدی به ارتقای سطح و کیفیت آموزش از طریق افزایش هزینه‌های آموزشی صورت گیرد.
